Administrative Assistant Cover Letter Sample#1
I am applying for the administrative assistant position. I feel I would be an asset to the team as I would bring my strong work ethic, detail and organized personality, and my ability to get the job done.
I have related work experience as an office assistant at the University of Washington for about two years. While working there, I worked with Microsoft Excel and Word, greeted guests, distributed and went through the mail, assisted with accounts payable, did the filing, reviewed travel expense reports, took calls, typed documents, organized the files from previous years, made bank deliveries, and balanced the travel budget.
Currently, at Real Max, I also have similar responsibilities. I have worked as a customer service representative taking messages, answering phone calls, placing orders, and data entry. As the production manager, I possess a high level of accuracy, time management, and the ability to work independently. I use Microsoft Word and Excel for creating the roast schedule every day along with entering data on a daily basis.
I have obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish and Studio Art, inclusive of 16 credits towards a business degree. This spring I am going back to school for a second degree in accounting, online. My previous courses, along with my courses for my accounting degree, could assist me in the administrative position as well as give me hands on experience in an office setting.
I would like to bring my skills of being detail oriented and organized, having the desire to work with people, my work experience, and education to this particular job. I am available by phone every day or by email. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am actively seeking an opportunity in a demanding, fast-paced environment where I can deliver optimal administrative support and consumer retention while maintaining a professional and productive corporate setting. I have enclosed my resume for your consideration for this position.
During my career, I have demonstrated an exceptional ability to meet organizational objectives and demands. In addition to my administrative skills, I am an experienced event planner and manager, having served as an Administrative Assistant, Assistant Sales Manager, Customer Service Executive, Program Coordinator in past positions. I am certain I would prove to be an asset to your organization as well. My qualifications represent a background of increasingly important assignments within different organizations. These experiences have given me the opportunity to make many profitable contributions in a number of functional areas.
